Day 4

Good Morning! You've made it to the end of week 2 - well done! So today I'd like you to review all the material you have received from me so far: - on the blog  - the lists you received via email - the worksheets I gave you in class - incl. your own notes.  in order to create a list of all the new vocabulary and expressions you've learned related to the topic of "Education". The list could be a Word or Excel document, listing first the word or phrase, then its pronunciation, if necessary (as I do on your lists), followed by the definition in English, if possible, or a Spanish translation, as you can see in the example below: assignment ("a-sain-ment") = trabajo (colegio) / homework or project given to a student by his or her teacher. Once you have completed your list, please send it to my usual email address. This will serve you for future reviews, especially leading up to the exam ;)

Good Morning! Please read the following article and then  write a summary of min. 250 words in the comment box. See you tomorrow! Sabina x If you want your kid to get a good job, let them play! Fears about automation displacing workers around the world ranked high on the list of Things to Be Very Worried About  at the World Economic Forum  in January. “At the end of the day, we have to fire a lot of people,”  said Ursula Burns , chairman of the supervisory board at telecom group VEON, and former CEO of Xerox.
